needed Donation Items
IMPORTANT NOTE WHEN DONATING FOOD: To ensure the safety of those getting food from the food bank, we are not able to accept: expired food, products with dented, damaged or opened packaging or perishable foods that have not been maintained at the proper temperature.
Fruits and VegetablesHEALTHY TIPS: Choose fruit packed in 100% fruit juice or water with no added sugar. Choose canned vegetables with vegetables or water as the first ingredient and look for "No Added Salt" or less than 360 mg sodium per serving.

Meats and Alternatives

Donating garden produceIT’S TRUE. You can donate surplus produce from your garden to the food bank! Donations from your garden, and other perishable items, can only be accepted at our food banks during opening hours.

Grain ProductsChoose items with whole grain as the first ingredient and look for products containing at least 2g of fibre per serving.

Dairy ProductsHEALTHY TIP: Choose items with 2% or less milk fat (M.F.).
