2/11/2026 2025 Impact - Over $1.1 MILLION Unlocked in Benefits for Haliburton County Residents in 2025!Read Now  Over $1.1 MILLION Unlocked in Benefits for Haliburton County Residents in 2025!Last year, through our Free Income Tax Clinics, our team of volunteers and staff filed 401 tax returns for 305 people across Haliburton County. This unlocked over one million dollars in tax benefits for Haliburton County Residents! Tax filing is often a barrier for households to access critical government supports like the ‘baby bonus’ (Canada Child Benefit), GST/HST rebates, Ontario Trillium Benefit and more. These free income tax clinics help folks to overcome this barrier and access critical dollars they can use to cover basic needs such as food, transportation, heat and hydro.
